Photos: Lucerne, Switzerland (Day 1)

After spending the afternoon in Zurich, we drove for about an hour to our hotel in Lucerne, a lovely old town in a valley by a beautiful lake. :D Plenty of old buildings and pretty bridges, as well as a view of the lake.

We were given free time before dinner when we arrived, so my mom and I went out to take some pictures around the hotel.

This was the view at the end of our street.

There were so many swans and ducks hanging about the lake and rivers here. And weirdly they seemingly never slept. O.o

There were many bizarre knobbly trees. What kind are they?

Kappelbrucke (Chapel Bridge) and Wasserturm (the Water tower).

We visited the train station.

We went over to photograph this church the next day.

We somehow managed to stumble upon the Swiss Film
Awards. XD With our big cameras they were going to let
us right in! Too bad we had to go back for dinner and
couldn't stay... We could have met famous people!
(Who we would never be able to recognize!)

Next: Lucerne Day 2! :D
